Valbart Heritage LeftFlowpalnt

Valbart was founded in 2003 as a joint venture Between A.K. Velan and Roberto Bartolena. Since then, the company has witnessed tremendous growth and has been recognized as the fastest growing firm in its sector. Acquired in 2010 by Flowserve Corporation following a long period of sustained growth, Valbart further expanded its technical resources and product offerings. The company specializes in designing and manufacturing API 6A and API 6D Trunnion Mounted ball and API 6D Gate Valves. The company is driven by constant innovation to increase its existing range of products. Apart from being one of the leading suppliers of TM BV, Valbart is also recognized for its production of Trunnion Mounted Control Ball Valves, Cryogenic Valves, DBB Valves and Rising Stem Friction Free Ball Valves.

Flowserve Valbart has three worldwide manufacturing facilities, Mezzago Italy offers four buildings in excess of 140,000+ sq.ft each , Sulfur Springs Texas offers one building has more than 300,000 square feet (28,000 square meters), is the largest lubricated plug valve and ball valve manufacturing facility in the world, the third facility that serves the Asia market in China. Valbart also has a distribution ware house in Houston, Texas.

Valbart Trunnion Mounted API-6D Ball Valves

Features

  • Manufactured and tested to API-6D standards and Monogrammed, ISO -9001
  • Full port design
  • A350 all forged steel body, ball and seats
  • API-607 & 6FA certified fire safe design
  • .003 ENC on ball, seats and stem. Valve conforms to Nace MR -01-75 specifications
  • Robust close coupled trunnion block design, Secondary seat sealant feature, Dual stems seals with sealant injection
  • Trunnion-mounted ball: Features a fixed ball and floating seat rings. Bearings absorb the side load generated by the pressure acting on the ball.
  • Independent ball and stem: The ball and stem are independent to minimize the effect of side thrust from pressure acting on the ball.
  •  Double block and bleed (DBB): Both seats hold their respective pressure independently of the body cavity pressure, which is ideal to verify that the seats are sealing.
  • Soft-seated valves: In valves designed for standard service, a resilient material is inserted into themetal seat holder to provide a soft-seating action in addition to the metal-to-metal seating between the ball and seat rings.
  • Self-relieving seat rings- two seat rings assure bi-directional sealing of the valves.
Anti-blowout stem maintained because the stem is retained by the stem cover.

Optional features

  • Metal seated valves
  • Double piston effect seats
  • Extended stem and fittings for below ground service
  • Numerous types of body, trim, seal area overlay and seal materials available

The Valbart Rising Stem Ball Valve

The Valbart Rising Stem Ball Valve, RS BV, is ideal for
applications requiring a mechanically energized metal seat
or soft-seat to safeguard against losses from process
contamination or leakage of material.
Features

  • Low maintenance due to non-contact, friction free opening and closing, which is excellent for frequent cycling.
  • Linear stem operation without rotation, which is excellent for linear operation and actuation.
  • Standard with STE LLITE 6 ball and seat sealing area.
  • Extended lifetime due to the selection of high quality materials which help prevent against wear and corrosion.
  • Presence of backseat enables stem packing to be renewed when valve is under pressure in the fully open position.
  • Standard design with Outside Screw and Yoke and normal gland, follower and gland flange for easy gland packing adjustment without using special tools.
  • Seat tightness up to Class VI and zero leakage through special lapping techniques.
  • Top-entry design for in-line section or maintenance. Optional Features
  • Numerous body, trim, seal area overlay and seal materials Available

Double Block and Bleed Isolation Valve

The “Double Block and Bleed Isolation Philosophy,” used in
Valbart’s Double Block and Bleed Valve, DBBV, requires two
in-line isolation valves and a bleed valve. These elements
are used to drain or vent trapped fluid between the two
closure elements in order to safely isolate the downstream
pipe. This feature is achieved with one single valve
containing a bleed port between the two valves.

Features

  • Space and weight saving features of the trunnionmounted ball valve.
  • Cost savings for the product and installation.
  • Minimized leak paths.
  • Increased structural integrity.
  • Increased reliability of the system.
  • Ease and cost savings of automation- pneumatic, hydraulic or electric actuation configurations. Optional Features
  • Metal seated valves
  • Double piston effect seats
  • Extended vent fittings
  • Numerous body, trim, seal area overlay and seal materials available
